Trial and Adoption Phase Training #3 | Product Testing & Certification

The Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) was invited to offer a professional training session, covering Product Testing as well as EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) and Wireless Testing — which supports participants in refining their innovative solutions. 

Training Highlights:
 Product Testing: Teams learned techniques such as environmental stress tests, accelerated life testing (HALT), and waterproof testing to identify potential weaknesses in their prototypes and make targeted improvements for stronger, more user-centered products.

EMC & Wireless Testing: Teams gained insights into CE marking requirements, frequency band regulations (e.g., FCC, RED), and strategies to minimise electromagnetic interference for enhanced compatibility. They also explored shielding, grounding, and filtering techniques to ensure stable performance and global compliance for IoT devices.
