Trial and Adoption Phase Training #2 | Data Governance and Privacy

We organised a Data Governance and Privacy training workshop for the winning teams to enhance their understanding on data handling and privacy compliance, in preparation for commercialisation.

Data is the backbone of innovation. That is why mastering compliant data governance and protecting user privacy are essential to build the team’s professional image and strengthen trust in their solutions!

The workshop covered basic principles of data governance (availability, integrity, and security) and key regulations like the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Teams also learned practical techniques such as encryption, access controls, and audit processes to tackle data compliance challenges effectively.
